How it works

The BlockRun MCP server is one `claude mcp add` away. It creates a wallet on first run, keeps the private key on your machine, and signs an x402 payment header for each call, so Claude Code can reach every chat model in the catalog, generate images and video, run web and neural search, read prediction markets and call chain RPC without a single provider account.

Payment is the authentication: there is no key to rotate and nothing to paste into a config. Ask Claude to set up the wallet and it prints the address and a funding QR; fund it with USDC on Base or Solana, or ask for a one-time card onramp link. Calls that fail on our side are never charged.

Behind it is the BlockRun catalog: 78 chat models plus image, video, music and speech generation, search, market data and multi-chain RPC, priced per call. 6 open-weight models are free and need no wallet.

Do I need an Anthropic or OpenAI key?
No. The MCP pays per request with USDC from a wallet it creates for you; the request itself is the credential.
Which models can Claude Code reach?
Every chat model in the catalog, plus image, video, music and speech generation, search, market data and RPC. The live list is on the models page.
Is anything free?
Yes — the open-weight models are free and need no wallet at all, so the MCP works before you fund anything.

    Point your agent at BlockRun

    Install ClawRouter, or add the BlockRun MCP server to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or OpenClaw. Any OpenAI-compatible client works too — change the base URL, nothing else.

    Fund a wallet with USDC

    Send USDC to a wallet on Base or Solana. There is no account to create and no API key to issue: the wallet is the account, and it pays per call.

    Use BlockRun from Claude Code

    The first call returns HTTP 402 with the exact price, your agent signs it, and the answer comes back. Payment settles on-chain; nothing is charged if the call fails.
