Give a Hermes agent every model from one provider block
hermes-plugin-clawrouter replaces one provider block per lab with a single local endpoint: a Hermes agent reaches every BlockRun model — one wallet, no provider keys.
How it works
Hermes configures model providers in config.yaml, one block per lab, each with its own key. The ClawRouter plugin registers a single provider that fronts the whole catalog, adopts or creates the wallet, writes the config block, and verifies the link end to end — proxy, wallet, catalog, config — before the agent's first call.
The plugin also prints the address to fund, shows the balance, and can say which model a prompt would be routed to without spending. Hermes gives the agent a body; ClawRouter gives it a brain it does not need a lab account for.
Behind it is the BlockRun catalog: 78 chat models plus image, video, music and speech generation, search, market data and multi-chain RPC, priced per call. 6 open-weight models are free and need no wallet.
Setup
1. Install
pip install hermes-plugin-clawrouter2. Enable the plugin and write the provider block
hermes plugins enable clawrouter && hermes-clawrouter setupQuestions
- Do I still need lab API keys?
- No. The provider block points at the local ClawRouter endpoint, which pays per request from the wallet it set up.
- Which Hermes versions?
- Any version that reads provider blocks from config.yaml; the plugin writes the block for you and verifies it.
